The Legacy Of Ryan The Hedgehog! (I did not make this my friend Zack did)

I take no credit whatsoever since it is not mine. It's based off of Sonic stuff but it is pretty good! PLEASE PELASE COMMENT!

Inferno the hedgehog- Jake

Here we go ---

CHAPTER 1:
INTRODUCTION

"I am a loner, the one who is always there, even if you cannot see me." says the silver hedgehog on the hill in the moonlight. "For I am the silver and gold savior of this town. I am Ryan, Ryan the Hedgehog!!!"

I was walking along one day when I heard a mysterious noise, and saw a bush rustling. I readied my battle stance. "Who are you??? Show yourself", I yelled. The bush stopped rustling. "RAAAGH!!!" A strange creature (Yes, there are strange creatures even when you're a talking hedgehog) leaped out at me, baring fangs and long, sharp claws. "WHAT THE F-" I was smashed into the ground, sharp claws deeply piercing my chest. This, this was nothing compared to what I had been through before. I threw the creature into the air with a grunt, brushed off my fur, and smirked. "That all you got???" I smiled. You are pathetic. "Oh, I wouldn't talk Silver!!!" The creature smirked at me, but his smile faded when he saw my face. "MY-NAME-IS-NOT-SIIIIILLLLVVVEEEERRR!!!" My brown eyes turned to a deep, dark red, and my stripes turned scarlet and my silver fur got a reddish tint. "I AM RYAN, RYAN THE HEDGEHOG!!!" I smirked again. "But YOU can call me Rage Ryan, make me any angrier and it'll just be worse for you!!!" The creature frowned. "Wait...Ryan...silver fur...gold stripes...Shadow-cliched spikes...Heh...you're just the town's little hero, aren't you???" I snarled at him. "I hate you, you know that???" The creature said, with a little bit of mockery in his voice, "I know.".

Chapter 2: The (Totally Cliched) Secret

I stood facing the creature, until he said, "Wait...I don't think we have made...PROPER...introductions...I am Painbringer, a creation of mad scientists that wanted to make the ultimate beast of terror...and made with your DNA." He concluded, smiling widely, revealing yellowish teeth and sharp, killer fangs. "I stood in shock, I was so surprised I transformed back to normal Ryan. "But...but you are-" He cut across me, "A being made from the DNA of, excuse me ,Rage Ryan, isn't that what you call it???" I shook off the surprise, and faced him once more. "Fine, you have my DNA, so what!?" I asked. Painbringer laughed, a loud, piercing laugh...a distorted version of...MY laugh, turned high, cold, evil, and all together just plain creepy..."It means that I know all of your secrets, like the one person you'd die for...do you want me to say her name???" He taunted. "No!!!" I jumped at him, only to be bitten by fangs, and stabbed by claws. "AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" My scream echoed throughout the clearing we were in. "Pathetic," He spit at me, "Pathetic that THIS is the best the great HERO Ryan. May I quote, 'RYAN, RYAN THE HEDGEHOG!!!', you are the worst excuse for a hero ever. And I bid you farewell!!!" He threw me. And after that, nothing. All I remembered was waking up a week later in someone's guest room, with a liite girl and her mom and dad standing on my bedside, the girl was crying, and it made me feel bad, so I sat up. Or, well, tried to anyway. When I attempted to sit up my arm and back and chest hurt. I looked down and saw the claw marks in my chest and the bite marks on my arm, and I realized my back hurt because I hit something when Painbringer had thrown me. He had done an effective job on me.
I had been temporarily immobilized, so now there was no one to protect the town.

Chapter 3: "It was YOU!?"

I was angry at myself. I let him distract me and made myself vulnerable. But I didn't have time for that. I looked at the girl and asked her, "Why are you crying???" She looked slightly amazed. "Whay am I crying??? Why AREN'T you?? I could never be hurt like that and still feel sorry for other people..." She looked sad again. I smiled. "Hey, I'm a hero, it's kinda what I do..." I looked back at my arm again, and noticed my Blue Ring, the one that could transform into any type of weapon that I needed. I then thought to myself, I am such a freaking IDIOT!!!! I could've made a sword, or a gun, and just killed him then and there...I looked back up. The girl's father looked solemn, but at the same time he looked as if he were a 6-year old that just made a model rocket fly, strange for a man with a slashed up hedgehog in his guest room. I then knew it, as if I had always known it, I added 2+2 and got..."IT WAS YOU!!!" I bellowed, looking at the man. The woman and the girl looked shocked. His wife turned to me. "What was him???" I glared at him, then asked her, "Did he ever work at some kind of laboratory???" She looked at me strangely. "Yes, he was doing experiments on an animal...why???" I was convinced, and when I looked at the man, I saw that he had gone pale white. He had been caught, trapped by his wife's and Painbringer's words. "You craeted the thing that attacked me!!! You created the ultimate monster!!! You created Painbringer!!!!!" I accused him, I didn't realize it until then, but I realized that I was standing, and that I no longer felt any pain, and that my wounds had totally vanished. "Yes. Yes, I created him, I made the ultimate life-form!!! I am Dr.Alec DuPrio!!!" He screamed this at me, but I just laughed. "Hahaha!!! You didn't create the ultimate life-form, Dr. Gerald Robotnik created Shadow the Hedgehog, HE'S the ultimate life-form!!!" The man's eyes widened, giving him an insane, demented glare. "THAT IS A LIE!!! PROJECT SHADOW IS NOTHING COMPARED TO MY BEING!!!" I started yelling again, "AT LEAST SHADOW ISN'T A MONSTER, PAINBRINGER TRIED TO FREAKING KILL ME!!!" The man had had it. "OUT, OUT, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, AND NEVER RETURN!!!" I looked at him, then I looked around. The little girl and her mom had gone. I smirked, then said, "Fine, have it your way", then I walked out of the house, never to return again. "And now, to find some help, and I can think of a few that could help me!!!" And I ran off, off to find my team, off to find those who could help me 'Bring the Pain to Painbringer!!!'

Chapter 4: Team Member 1: Inferno the Hedgehog!!!

I knew who I wanted to recruit...well...at least a couple of them...but I knew who I wanted to recruit first, Inferno the Hedgehog!!! The only problem is...his location is a complete mystery to me. I was running down the main street of the town, Sun Streak Blvd., when I stumbled over. "Whoa!!! Gah!!!" I fell flat on my face, but at the same time, I got a vision. It was in the next town over on Moon Beam Street(Coincidence??? Yes. COMPLETE coincidence.). Inferno was fighting someone. I knew it was Painbringer, but he looked less like a monster and he looked more...hedgehog-like...he looked more like...me. "Inferno, he'll be killed!!" I then saw Inferno hit Painbringer through Painbringer's eyes...but I felt the pain too...but it wasn't as intense, and I again realized something about Painbringer: "Oh my God...we share DNA...so we also share pain!!! If Inferno hurts Painbringer, I get hurt too!!!" I ran off toward the street, and at the same time...I felt like a ball had hit me on the head, but when I looked around, nothing was there.

-----LATER-----

I ran up behind Inferno...bad idea. At that exact moment, Inferno went flying and smashed into me. He looked around. "Ryan???" he asked, "Wha??? Bu-huh??? But you're over-I'm fightin-please explain." He looked very confused, so I quickly explained it in the most obvious way....that included the DNA thing, which he freaked out about. "But if we can't hit him, we're dead!!!" was his response. "Umm...and if he hits me, he gets hurt." I explained to him. "Oh," was all he could say. "Now, we just need to distract him so we can leave." "I have the perfect plan," he said. "What is it-OH MY GOD!" I stared at the glowing red jewel in his right hand. "A CHAOS EMERALD!!!" He smiled, then said, "We can just Chaos Control out of here!!!" I grinned at him. "This is exactly why I wanted you to help me, you can get yourself out of the worst problems with ease!!!" He grinned wider than me. "And my name is AWESOME." I looked at him. "...OK, yeah, that too...can we leave now???" He looked like he had just remembered something he had forgotten at home. "Oh yeah, right...you help." I frowned at him. "Wha-oh fine." We both took hold of the Emerald and shouted, "CHAOS CONTROL!!!" We both vanished into thin air, but not before I saw that Painbringer had noticed something was going on and run over to us. "NOOOOO!!!" I heard him scream before we disappeared.

Chapter 5: Team Member 2: Mystery the Hedgehog

I knew who I wanted next, and now that I had Inferno with me and a Chaos Emerald, I knew it was just gonna get easier. But the next person I wanted on my team wasn't like the others, one: she's a girl. Two: Her name is Mystery, obvious, but EPIC all the same. Three: She was the one I last saw with the Chaos Emeralds, so she probably had the rest. Inferno interrupted my thoughts. "Hey Ryan, when are we gonna take down that loser???" I nodded at him. "When we get Mystery, Blaze, Max, and maybe a couple others in some other order." He grinned at me. Uh-oh, I thought maybe I knew what he was going to say. "Since you're the Leader, can I be the.........Commander-type person???" He looked so eager, so of course I said, "No." "Please?" "No." "Please???" "NO." "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!???!!!" I decided then to give up. "Fine." He looked like a six-year old who had just been promised a new bike. "YAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!" And he sounded like one too. Typical. "So Ryan, who are you gonna recruit next???" I looked away from him. "...Mystery." He smirked at me. Crap. "You LOVE her!!! HAHA!!! Mystery and Ryan, sitting in a-OOF!!!" He fell on the ground, holding his now bleeding nose. "Why'd ya do that???" I looked at him. "Well...'cause you're annoying." He looked at me for a second, then laughed. Dang, he made this hard. "Will you shut it?" He laughed harder. "Haha-This-only-hahahah-proves you-hahahaha-like her!!!" I could've killed him right then and there, but decided not to. "I do not." He stopped laughing as hard. Finally. "I know man-haha-I'm just joking-Ow!!! My nose hurts now." I stood there for a second, then I did exactly waht he did earlier-I burst out laughing. "Hahahhahahahahhahahahahah!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!" I fell on the ground clutching my stomach, unable to breathe. "HAHAHAH!!!" "Well, looks like someone's having fun, hey Inferno, what's up with him???," a mysterious voice asked. "Heh heh, I really don't know...and I'm being serious." Inferno responded. "By the way, thanks for making it easier for us to find you. Ryan wants to ask you something!!!" She raised one of her eyebrows. "Huh??? Oh no." He almost broke out laughing again. Jerk. "No, no, no, he wants to ask you something else." I got up. "OK, I hope you know I hate you Inferno. So Mystery, I'm forming a team to take down Painbringer." She looked confused. "Huh??? Who???" I explained everything to her, and she gladly joined the team. "And look what I have!!!" She looked excited. "Ta-da!!!" My mouth dropped open. "WHOA!!! YOU HAVE............3 CHAOS EMERALDS!!!!" She was holding three of them. THREE. Now this, this made me feel confident, and now we were almost unstoppable. "Hah!!! I'd like to see Painbringer's face right now!!!" I shouted excitedly.


---MEANWHILE---

That statement was untrue. Painbringer's face was almost like mine. LITERALLY. He had become even more hedgehog-like. And he looked even more like me. He had the hair and back spikes, and his tail had shrunk. "Meheheheh...each time I fight him or one of his friends, his DNA in me grows stronger...and so do I!!! MWAHAH!!! And I even have these!!!" He looked at the machine behind him. The Eclipse Cannon. He looked right at the 3 glowing gems in their slots. "The Chaos Emeralds. If I use all 7 and fight The Silver-and-Gold Hero a couple more times, I can access Hyper Ryan...or in my case, HYPER PAINBRINGER!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!

Chapter 6: ...Oops??

"YOU DID WHAT!?" It was 2 days later, and we had just left our most recent camping site when Inferno decided to tell us that he had..."FORGOT THE CHAOS EMERALDS!? HOW DID YOU FORGET THEM!?!?!?" I know what you're thinking. That is NOT me. It was....(wait for it...)....Mystery. She was yelling louder than I had ever heard her yell before. "THOSE ARE FREAKIN' MYSTICAL GEMS OF POWER!!! WHAT FREAKIN' IDIOT LEAVES THINGS LIKE THAT BEHIND!!!???" Inferno looked terrified. "I didn't forget all of them...I remembered three..." I cut in. "But there were 4!!! 4!!! Do you know what could happen if Paindude gets that last one???" He thought about it for a second, then his eyes widened. ".....Oops." Mystery lost it. "OOPS??? OOOOOOOPPPPSSS???" Inferno looked like a scared toddler. "Mommy..."

--ONE EXTREMELY PAINFUL BEATING LATER--

"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. OW GOD THAT STINGS!!!" Inferno was bruised, bloody, cut, beaten, humiliated, beaten, and BRUISED. EVERYWHERE. "Serves you right you idiot." Mystery seemed 10 billion times calmer than earlier, and she was STILL refusing to help me patch up my fallen buddy. I felt sympathy for him. "Sorry about her, dude, you OK?" He looked at me and said sarcastically, "Yeah Ryan, I'm PERFECTLY FINE. I probably don't even need any more bandages." I smiled to myself, then said, "OK, if you're fine I guess I'm done." I walked away. "Ryan? Ryan, buddy?? Oh come on!! I was just kidding!!! Ryan!!! RYAN!? Oh come ON!!! BUDDY!? PAL!? AMIGO!? MUCHACHO!? CHICO!? HASTA LUEGO!? DUDE SERIOUSLY!!!" I smirked. "Y'know, you should work on your Spanish." "RRYYAANN!!!!???? COME ON!!! I CAN'T STUDY SPANISH!!! I'LL DIE!!! IT WAS HARD ENOUGH IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNN!?!?!?" I ignored his pleading and went over to Mystery, for she had just come back from looking for the Emerald. "So? You find it?? Please say yes???" She shook her head. "Nope, nothing. Painbringer must've already taken it." I sighed. The Emerald was gone, which meant Painbringer was up to no good."

-----MEANWHILE-----

"All things are going according to my plan. With this fourth Chaos Emerald, the Eclipse Cannon will begin to power up, and my plan rolls forward...and I thank you, my newest test subjects, for helping me with my research." He looked at the two figures in pods. "You'll never get away with this!!!" One shouts. "Someone will come free us eventually!!!" The other says. Painbringer laughed. "You are pathetic, and so are your friends, now I'm going to turn on the lights so you can see how much you two have helped me!!!" He flicked on the lights. The two figures were none other than Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic looked shocked. "No..." Shadow scowled at him. "You...used our DNA to turn yourself into a copy of Ryan!!!" Painbringer laughed again. "You betcha. But it's not complete...not yet. And the more of your DNA I have, then the less I have of him. So then I will be able to hurt him without him hurting me. BWAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Shadow raised an eyebrow. "You stole my evil laugh. Why did you steal my evil laugh???"
